A Mosaic for the Circus
Work has begun on the construction of a unique mosaic illustrating the excitement of the Roman circus. Artist Peter Froste designed the mosaic, inspired by ancient Roman examples from the continent. It is hoped that the pavement, which is being made at the Philip Morant School and College, will be given a permanent home on the site of recently-discovered circus in Colchester.
